How it works

From sign‑up to the follow‑up

What the product does at each stage, in the order you use it: getting started, prep before the call, the live call, the assistant, and what happens after. Written from the software as it is built.

Getting started

An account, a trial or a plan, the overlay on the rep’s computer, and one sign-in for both.

  1. 1

    Create your account

Sign up on the website with your company name, your name, an email and a password. Your account becomes the organisation’s first administrator. Confirm the email we send you; the link works once.

  2. 2

Start the trial, or pay now

The sign-up form asks how you want to start. A free trial is 14 days of Solo, for one person, with no card and no invites, and it starts as soon as you confirm. Or choose a plan and go straight to checkout.

  3. 3

    Get the overlay

Download the installer for your computer from the overlay section of the home page — there is one for Windows and one for macOS. No account is needed for the file itself: the overlay asks you to sign in the first time you open it. It runs on Windows 10 and 11, and on macOS 14.2 or later with Apple silicon.

  4. 4

    Sign in to the overlay

Use the same email and password as the website. Only a sign-in token is kept on the computer, never your password. The overlay checks your subscription when you sign in and every six hours after that, and never in the middle of a call.

Prep before the call

What the rep sees about a customer before dialling, in the overlay’s Prep tab or on the website’s Weekly page.

  1. 1

    Pick the customer

In the overlay’s Prep tab, search your customers by name, business or email. The tab shows their status and health score, the last call with its mood and summary, earlier calls, and the open action items. Reading this makes no AI call and spends nothing.

  2. 2

    Choose the range

Last call, 7 days, 30 days or a custom range. The range decides how many earlier calls the brief reads: one, four, eight, or up to twelve.

  3. 3

    Build the brief

One press of Build prep brief sends the customer’s record, the calls in range and the open items to the AI, which writes where they stand, what to raise, what was promised, the open threads, what to avoid, what to watch for, and an opener. It ends by saying how many calls it read.

  4. 4

Or build it on the website

The same brief is on the Weekly page, under Call prep. Pick a customer and press Build call prep. It reads the last 30 days and shows where they stand, the open threads to close, what to push on, what to watch for, and an opener.

The live call

Coaching as the conversation moves: the next line to say, and what sits under it.

  1. 1

    Press Start

Open the Live Call tab and press Start. The listener on your computer transcribes both sides of the call, your microphone and the call audio, and hands the text to the coach. The audio itself never leaves the computer.

  2. 2

    The customer is recognised

From the opening of the call the overlay proposes who you are talking to and matches the name against your customer list. It never creates a customer on its own. Pick the customer yourself at any time, and your choice is never overridden.

  3. 3

    Read the next line

Each time the customer says something new, the coach re-reads the conversation against your winning-call examples and documents and writes the next line to say. It sits in its own dock, marked Say this next, and turns to Said once you have said it. A figure it cannot back with your documents or the customer’s own words is replaced with an honest check-back.

  4. 4

Fix now, You missed, Heads up

Under the line: a mistake to fix now, a question you missed, a heads-up when the customer contradicts something they said earlier, the objections on the table, what the customer wants with a tick as each is met, the stage and urgency, and the customer’s mood. When AI credits run low, the warning appears here too.

The assistant

A question box for this customer and this call, with the working shown for anything with numbers in it.

  1. 1

    Ask, mid-call

The Assistant tab is a question box. Type a question about this customer or the call so far and press Enter. Shift and Enter makes a new line. It runs on its own, apart from the coaching, and only when you ask.

  2. 2

It answers about this customer only

The answer draws on this customer’s record, their last three calls, the open action items and the customer’s side of the current call, never another customer’s data. The last three exchanges are kept as context; the rest is dropped.

  3. 3

    Money questions show the working

A question with numbers comes back with the working shown line by line, and the answer is checked against that working in code, not by the model. If the arithmetic cannot be made to add up, it says so and tells you to work it out yourself before quoting anything.

After the call

The saved call, its summary, the follow-up on one click, and where it all lands on the website.

  1. 1

    Stop and save

Press Stop and save, or let it save itself: after five minutes of silence, when you change customer, when you close the window, and when you log out. A call with no customer named is kept as a draft on the computer until you pick one.

  2. 2

    The summary is written

Saving sends the whole transcript for a two-to-three sentence summary, the customer’s mood, and up to five next steps. They are stored with the transcript under your account and appear on the Sessions page and on the customer’s page, for everyone in your organisation.

  3. 3

    The follow-up on one click

Once the call is saved, the Follow-up section opens. Press Email or WhatsApp: one request writes both drafts from the customer’s words and their history. Edit them, open them in your mail app or in WhatsApp, or copy them. Nothing is sent until you send it.

  4. 4

    Back on the website

The saved call shows on Sessions and on the customer’s page, where you add tasks with due dates by hand. The dashboard, the weekly digest, the reports and the next call’s prep all read from these saved calls.
